What we grew up watching Remember rushing home from school, having lunch, and sitting in front of the television to begin your non-stop session of watching cartoon? Back then, missing one episode of Pokémon was more heartbreaking than anything. Here’s a flashback tribute to what we grew up watching.

We all know the story of how the mad Grim Reaper gets stuck with two troublemakers, Billy and Mandy.

Known for his muscles and womanizing hairstyle, this is about the confident guy who thinks all the women want him.

Child genius Dexter is up to coming up with amazing inventions to save the world, which he makes in his secret laboratory. With his parents having no idea what he is up to, his sister Dee Dee is constantly bugging him and ruining his experiments.


7) Codename: Kids Next Door

There are a few 10 year olds who live in a secret treehouse, where they are coming up with technologically forward machines to save the world.


6) Looney Tunes

This is about Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and a few other comical characters who are continuously running into trouble.


5) Scooby doo

Scooby is a friendly dog which gets involved in spooky adventures with a few other friends.

4) The Powerpuff Girls

Created in a lab by Professor Utonium, three sisters – Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are equipped with superpowers to save their town from evil beings.

3) Courage the Cowardly Dog

Courage is a scared dog who is always meeting ghost-like creatures and trying to save his owners- Eustace and Muriel from them.

2) Pokémon

We all know about this pocket monsters franchise which was aired for years.


1) Tom and Jerry

This is undoubtedly one of the most favorite cartoons of all times, with the story being about the disturbing cat Tom and the mischievous mouse Jerry. Of course, there were other cartoons which lightened up our childhood, but these are the ones we still embrace as we think of what we grew up watching.
