The pandemic atmosphere is making us all go through one of the toughest times. While the majority are quarantined, it’s also veracious that many do not have the plausibility of residing at their own homes. Starting from blue-collar workers to nether social class individuals, many are exposed to COVID 19, one of the most lethal incidents in history. A lot of financially vigorous people have the ability to get involved in philanthropic activities, to help out the ones who are economically striving during these tough times. Keeping the circumstances contemplated, Sheba.xyz, The Daily Star, and Samakal have decided to collaborate for an initiative.
The initiative, titled – Mission Save Bangladesh, will provide groceries for underprivileged citizens, to ensure that the fundamental life is lived. Mission Save Bangladesh will also provide financial support for small businesses. The initiative will include various community-based activities, such as disinfecting common places, disinfecting houses, distributing necessary material – hand sanitizers, PPE for doctors, and so on.
Today, some of the volunteers of this social initiative or we can also term as, ‘Heroes’, have started disinfecting a lot of places out there that were visited by a large number of people over the last few days. From Gulshan DCC Market to a few places in Mohakhali, these heroes have decided to extend their help to the society. They are gradually covering several places by disinfecting them.
Sheba.xyz has a dedicated customer service team for this initiative, and the customer care number is 16516, for providing all the technical support. They will also assign the vendors to provide necessary services and support where possible.
