Hair loss is somewhat a common problem among both men and women. While it is normal to find a few fallen strands of hair on your pillow, it can get something to worry about when there is excessive hair fall. So what can you do about it?
First of all, fix your diet. Make sure you are consuming enough protein to help those hair grow. Focus on foods with high protein and omega-3 fatty acids. You can take vitamins supplements as well to make sure you get enough Vitamin A, B12 and E which are essential for hair growth. Minerals zinc, calcium, iron, etc. are also found in many of the vitamin supplements which are necessary as well.
Drink plenty of water! As you might have heard before, a healthy intake of water is the most important factor when it comes to combating with hair fall. While you are at it, make sure to cut down on smoking or too much caffeine intakes.
Sleep deprivation can lead to hair fall. So make sure you are having at least 6 hours of sleep every day. And try to not stay up too late in the night. It is also said that stress and tension are the root cause for hair fall so relax yourself a bit. Meditation, yoga and regular prayers can help you with that.
Try exercising regularly which will not only increase the blood flow to your hair but also make your scalp sweat in a healthy amount. Also, try getting oil scalp massages which not only feels good but also helps with the blood circulation.
And finally, show some love to your hair. Avoid hair wax, gels and sprays which are notorious for hair damage. If you do use them then make sure to wash them off at night. Try to shampoo your hair at least once a week which will clean the dirt off from the scalp. Don’t brush or comb your hair too hard, be gentle. While drying your hair don’t heat the dryer up too high and keep the hairs slightly moist. Hopefully, your hair will be growing normally if you follow all the above guidelines.
