Shami Kababs are widely popular in the country and even throughout the Indian subcontinent. It was a famous dish in modern day Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani cuisines. It consists of a small patty like minced meat, generally beef, but could be lamb or mutton.
Shami Kababs are boiled with hot spices, whole garlic, whole ginger, and some salt until fully tender. Onions, chili powder, turmeric, eggs, chopped mint leaves, and a lot of other items to make it tasty.
This is served with hot naan-ruti, usually.
