Local financial technology service provider Dmoney today announced its business operation aimed at creating a strong stance of the country’s digital financial service. Dmoney digital payment application was launched in a press conference at the Westin Hotel in Dhaka.
Dmoney plans not only to meet the users’ electronic payment demands but also to integrate customers seamlessly with the recent lifestyle and financial services, the firm said.
Users can readily open a smartphone account and link to their bank accounts with the Dmoney app. Consumers can also take cash from any debit or credit card to Dmoney account. Besides sending and getting cash, Dmoney offers a variety of lifestyle services within the app, such as mobile top-ups, billing, ticketing, food, insurance, health, and many more on-demand services.
The app can be downloaded from both the app store and Google play store.
Users of Dmoney will also get different touchpoints to pay bills through QR code and online gateway. At the moment, they are accepting about 2,500 offline and online stores.
Furthermore, customers of multiple leading banks of Bangladesh- such as One Bank, Trust Bank and Al Arafah Islami Bank will be a part of Dmoney’s QR alliance.
In the program, Dmoney has shared its plan to grow its QR payment touchpoints to 100,000 by the year 2020.
Dmoney has received a Payment Service Provider (PSP) license from Bangladesh Bank earlier in January this year.
